I was talking to a democrat friend of mine. She assured me that there are economic cycles that have nothing to do with politics, and we just have to endure these natural cycles. They are 110% outside of politics. Sure. My guess that's the latest talking point on PBS.

But that's not my main point.

There are a lot of people who have achieved less than they wanted in life. They feel that they have been dealt a bad hand so to speak.

They WANT socialism and/or communism, because they feel that they will get more, and others will have less. They want everyone to be equal because they feel lesser. If the rich are made poor and the middle class are made poor, THEY will no longer feel like a failure or feel that they are lesser. That's why they liked the lockdowns. Everyone was at home, and because everyone was struggling, they felt good. Because they NORMALLY are struggling.

Basically it's "I don't have X so you can't have X because you having X when I can't makes me feel bad about myself." I don't know how you fight that.

Jealousy: I wish I had yours, but that's on me.

He's going to lose some of the pro life vote with his soft pedal on the issue. For those who vote with their conscience that speaks louder than any other worldly matter.
