Interesting. I think the left v. right, D v. R is largely a distraction. There are powerful people who sit above the politics that pull the strings. Bill Cooper talked about this in his book Behold a Pale Horse.
The people who sit above the noise they create have different names depending on who you ask. Globalists, Illuminati, etc. and opinions vary.
This isn’t to say the left and right dynamic don’t matter at all, it’s to say that they are both controlled by the same group.
