If you try to find this story at Reuters or the BBC or any other government-corporatist media, you won’t.
In order to achieve said (suicidal) ‘NET ZERO,’ the climate-change zealots have resorted to cutting down trees which supply biomass.
Honestly, it sounds like some Soylent Green shit to me! But I’m relieved it’s not decomposing human bodies. ‘Cuz you KNOW, someone would come up with rewards for electing suicide as a solution to your problems. No one would EVER do that. Oh, wait, except Canada. Gotta love the memes.
I digress. But I urge you to look below for more information about the intention of (very broke) Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (M.A.I.D.) program
The UK IMPORTS its biomass from the US and Canada. That seems very environmentally-friendly!
Trees for burning: the biomass controversy
18 January 2024
Since 2005, four British power plants have been converted from coal to biomass as part of the transition to a low-carbon electricity grid. They now burn the equivalent of 27 million trees in wood pellets per year, almost all of which are imported. The biggest biomass supplier, Drax, imported 8.2 million tonnes of biomass in 2022, of which 4.9 million tonnes were imported from the USA and two million tonnes were imported from Canada (Drax 2023: 41).
Aided by government subsidies, the switch from coal to wood took place when biomass was cheaper than other renewable sources of energy, but the strike price of wind and solar has since fallen far below that of biomass. Since burning wood creates more carbon dioxide than burning fossil fuels, further subsidies for this industry are controversial...
Trees are a renewable resource and burning them is a sustainable way of producing energy insofar as the trees can be replanted. However, burning trees creates more carbon dioxide per megawatt of energy than fossil fuels, including coal. Wood and coal have a similar carbon intensity but when harvesting, processing, and transport are accounted for, wood produces more carbon dioxide (Sterman et al. 2018). Drax’s power plant is by far the biggest emitter of carbon dioxide in the UK energy sector, producing 13.3 megatons in 2020 (BEIS 2023: 54).
Anyone who finds any of the above logical shouldn’t bother to read on. The point is lost on that person.
But human misery is sort of baked-in to this ideology, so...
'Sat on the cold, hard floor for hours'

Now, back to M.A.I.D.
Yes, it’s all connected.

Eugenics in Disguise: Canada’s MAID Program Now Aims at the Mentally Ill and Disabled “We are turning healthcare practitioners… into every day serial killers.” Kelsi Sheren, a military veteran turned social activist, is sounding the alarm about Canada’s Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) program.“MAID is medical assistance in dying, but let’s call it what it is. It’s eugenics. It’s not MAID. It’s eugenics. And the reason I say that so emphatically is because the statistic around who is using medical assistance and dying versus who is being euthanized are radically different.”
While MAID was originally created to help terminally ill patients end their suffering, Sheren argues it has morphed into something more concerning: a system that increasingly targets people with mental health challenges, disabilities, and other non-terminal conditions.
“We had a girl in British Columbia last year... walked into Vancouver hospital. She was suicidal... She was met by the doctors who told her she couldn’t see psychiatrists for six months... And then she was then sat down while the nurse put her hand on her knee and said, ‘Have you heard of MAID?’ to a vulnerable person who just expressed that she was suicidal.”
Sheren compares this to eugenics - the controversial historical practice of trying to “improve” society by controlling who gets to live or reproduce. “This is a movement to remove the vulnerable, disabled, liabilities, burdens on society, full stop. That’s what this is. This is not compassion and care dying with dignity or empathy.
This is, let’s remove the problems from society.” “We are turning healthcare practitioners who went into the practice to help people. We are turning them into every day serial killers. And there is a moral issue to that, that those doctors, those family members, were not like, not ready, not trained to handle at all.”
What started as a program meant to offer choices to dying patients has expanded to include people who might be struggling with depression, anxiety, or other treatable conditions.
Sorry to ruin your day. But if we don’t expose this assault on our species, we’ll perish.
