Nick Shirley has just released his new exposé about communism in Cuba, and it’s full of real interviews with real Cubans.
Here he asks a Cuban about communism.
Nick: “What’s your opinion about communism?”
Man: “Communism is bad.”
N: “And why is it bad?”
M: “It’s bad; there’s no food here.”
N: “What’s been the change since Maduro was captured?”
Other man: *no comment*
N: “They can’t talk about it. It’s kind of interesting asking about these political situations that you can talk about in the United States completely freely, but a lot of people are intimidated and you have to respect that because you don’t want to put them in a bad situation.”
This is just a peek into the realities of Cuba. People are afraid to speak freely. That’s why they need saving. They want food, water, oil, and the ability to exchange ideas in an open environment.
