If you or someone from your environment shows signs of severe conspiracies, they get treated by a doctor! “Those affected and their environment receive confidential advice online and by telephone!
The aim is to provide the most tailor-made help and advice services possible for those seeking advice, those affected and their environment. The first appointment serves as an anonymous initial consultation and assessment of individual needs. If the initial consultation shows a longer-term need for advice, the subsequent counseling process is passed on to a local counseling center.”
Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser: “Conspiracy narratives go hand in hand with lies and disinformation. They are spread in a targeted manner to divide our society and destroy trust in independent science, in free media or democratic institutions.
Conspiracy narratives can lead to extremist ideologies and lead perpetrators to criminal and violent acts. Anti-Semitic conspiracy narratives are spread especially often. Usually, people in the immediate environment within the family, the circle of friends or at school first notice when conspiracy narratives are spread. An open dialogue at eye level often seems impossible because the other person is not accessible to arguments. The establishment of the nationwide counseling center is therefore an important component in the holistic fight against extremism and disinformation.”
Federal Family Minister Lisa Paus: "Conspiracy narratives are not only poison for our democracy, they also burden families, friends and colleagues of conspiracy believers enormously. With the new nationwide referral advice, we offer for the first time an easily accessible point of contact for everyone who is looking for support.
If you are looking for advice, you will receive initial guidance and help to find suitable consulting services nearby. After a confidential initial consultation, if necessary, a specialized office will be forwarded. In this way, we support those affected and their environment very concretely and at the same time strengthen prevention in order to protect our society from the growing dangers of conspiracy theories.”
Conspiracy narratives feed on the assumption that individuals or groups perceived as powerful influence important events in the world, leaving the population in the dark about their goals. They develop special power of influence in times of social crisis, also during the Covid-19 pandemic and currently in the context of the Russian war of aggression against Ukraine. Conspiracy narratives shape many extremist currents and can lead to dangerous radicalization and violence.
But even beyond extremist structures and networks, they can produce and solidify anti-democratic attitudes. The aim of the project "Consulting Compass Conspiracy Thinking" is therefore to provide the most tailor-made help and advice services possible for those seeking advice, those affected and their environment. The counseling center can now be reached online and by phone. The first appointment serves as an anonymous initial consultation and assessment of individual needs.
If the initial consultation shows a longer-term need for advice, the subsequent counseling process is passed on to a local counseling center. Cooperation with local counselling centres is constantly being expanded. The consultation is of course confidential.
Here in the U.S., the push by left-wing radicals, for the same type of dystopian branding (like the Scarlett Letter kink) has momentum. Spreading or questioning The Narrative (™) will be classified as a mental illness. You watch.

How wonderful, a return to the days of National Socialism! Who would have predicted it? We damn near wrecked the world to rid us of that misbegotten idea.
